Husband and wife Stan & Marilyn Garfin embraced this marketing concept 110% and today they are embraced by hundreds of clients who are thankful to have been a part of their business growth.

Stan was Sports Director at WTAR (now WTKR) for 26 years. He was also Sports Director and News Anchor at WTAR radio for a quarter of a century. From there, he worked in television sales for 2 years and radio sales at WFOG (easy listening station) for 6 years. Nowdays these senior citizens enjoy life by helping businesses grow. "We love helping our clients compose an advertisement," says Marilyn. "Their success is our success."

Marilyn has a strong business-ownership background. At age 27 she owned and operated her own restaurant. For 18 years, she ran the New York Deli in downtown Portsmouth. The deli is a landmark which is still operating to this day. For years, Marilyn owned "The Intermission Restaurant" in Ghent area of Norfolk. This eatery was the place to be seen when dining out. With her business background and her husband's community service, the beginning of this magazine was a natural.
